Self Discipline

It's been a long time since I wrote something on this blog. Too many events have happened to be recalled and recorded here, so no, I'm not gonna do that today. Maybe another time.
It's a warm sunny spring day out, and I'm sitting here by a huge window of my dorm's common room, comfortably on an olive couch, looking out to a beautiful scenery and thinking to myself "I am very sick of feeling like the biggest procrastinator in the world.

So here it is, my same old saga of learning personal development. Old it might be, there's always something new I get each time I spend time on this subject.

Self-discipline is the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state.

It's a progressive training. Small success leads to bigger success.

The idea is too keep pushing , near the limit , but NOT just within comfort zone.

Self-discipline needs to be built up over time, similar to how you start weight training. The more you challenge yourself, the more persistent you are, the better you get at it. Things that seem impossible will eventually become doable.

There is NO point in comparing yourself with other people. Start where you are now, and aim to get better as you go forward.
