I accept this reality, and I WANT TO CHANGE (I'm very sleepy right now, but I will not take a nap, no matter what, that's my goal today):
- I don't bath/shower every day
- I don't get up at the same time every day, sometimes I skip class because of sleep
- Fortunately I'm not overweight, more like underweight
- I have sleep/bed addiction. I want to break it. I would lie in bed with my mind active, waiting to fall asleep. It's very bad. I want to break it.
- My inbox is not empty (dont know why this is relevant)
- My room is currently organized, but it can be better.
- How much time do you waste in a typical day? On a weekend? Ok, this is a very painful question. But I think I waste around 80% of the day beside class time. I tend to browse the internet with no purpose, watch trivial dramas, videos, and drift off a lot when I work.
- If you make a promise to someone, what’s the percentage chance you’ll keep it? It's very sad, but 50% probably. I try not to make promises. But I sometimes don't meet my commitments, such as going to class or work. I want to change.
- If you make a promise to yourself, what’s the percentage chance you’ll keep it? Low chance...It's sad, I don't often think of making promises to myself.
- Could you fast for one day? Never tried it
- How well organized is your computer’s hard drive? Not too bad, but not very organized either
- How often do you exercise? Almost never
- What’s the greatest physical challenge you’ve ever faced, and how long ago was it? Too long ago, I am very embarrassed now thinking about it. Maybe in the UK, when I had to bike that early morning to WU office.
- How many hours of focused work do you complete in a typical workday? Very sad, but recently 2 hours....or less
- How many items on your to do list are older than 90 days? I don't really have a to do list..
- Do you have clear, written goals? Do you have written plans to achieve them? Not really
- How much TV do you currently watch? Could you give up TV for 30 days? I watch to much internet TV, I don't think I can give up for 30 day, but I can reduce it.
- How do you look right now? What does your appearance say about your level of discipline (clothes, grooming, etc)? I don't care much about how I look
- Do you primarily select foods to eat based on health considerations or on taste/satiety? Both
- When was the last time you consciously adopted a positive new habit? Discontinued a bad habit? It was 2 months ago, I felt really good for a while, but I fell back to my old habits and negative emotions, I am very ashamed to think about it. But my new habit was based on some negative restriction of my personal life, so I want to change that this time.
- Are you in debt? Do you consider this debt an investment or a mistake? I am in debt - and investment - it's for school, I don't have a choice.
- Did you decide in advance to be reading this blog right now, or did it just happen? A bit of both.
- Can you tell me what you’ll be doing tomorrow? Next weekend? Tmr I will start looking at Econometrics research baby, and go to blackrock event and opt workshop.
- On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your overall level of self-discipline? Four. Very embarrassed.
- What more could you accomplish if you could answer that last question with a 9 or 10?
